How to Make An Authentic Italian Neapolitan Pizza

Pizza is one of the world's most popular foods. Recently, I have pondered on how to craft the perfect Italian pizza. Throughout my learning process, I have learned that pizza is a work of art that is easy to make but difficult to master. Behold! Become a true pizza maestro with this. This recipe will have your tastebuds dancing and make you feel like a true artisan pizza chef! Follow these steps to achieve a scrumptious pizza.




For The Dough: 

 - 00 flour 

- Lightly warm water

- Fine salt

- Yeast (use mypizzacorner.com to measure)


                                                 

For The Sauce:

- San Marzano tomatoes 

- Fine salt

- Black pepper

For The Toppings:

- Unmoist mozzarella balls

- Parmesan cheese

- Olive oil

- Fresh basil






Instructions for Dough:


1. Combine all dough ingredients into a shaggy mass, while gradually adding in a yeast-water mixture.




2. Use the slap and fold technique to perfect the dough to a delectable texture.

3. To slap and fold, hold the sticky dough with 2 hands, flip, trap air, and repeat.



4. Then rest the dough in a bowl with flour and olive and rest it for a blissful 40 minutes. 



5. Unlease the dough and slap-and-fold technique the dough for around 5 minutes.

6. Rest it once again for 15 minutes the same way.

7. Repeat the slap-and-fold technique for the last time.

8. Rest it with virgin olive oil and flour for another 24 hours.

9. The next day, release your anger with a punch to release all the air out of the dough.

10. Cut into equal parts. 
 


Instructions for Sauce: 


1. Blend magical 'San Marzano' peeled tomatoes in a tin into a sauce.


2. Cook the sauce until it hits a pleasing thickness. 

3. Season with salt and pepper to your wish.




Instructions for Pizza Preparation: 


1. Crank up the oven to the highest temperature.




2. Place the succulent fresh mozzarella cheese balls in napkins to demoisten.




3. Deeply dust the dough balls to produce a velvety texture with the dough.

4. Use fists to stretch and turn dough balls into a circular shape and roll up the edges to achieve the perfect crispy chewy crust.

5. Delicately spread tomato sauce lightly and evenly to your heart's desire.




6. Pour tantalizing mozzarella chunks, fresh basil leaves, and Parmigiano Reggiano cheese randomly on the pizza.

7. Add your favorite toppings, whether it is flavorful herbs or crisp vegetables, to produce a symphony of flavors. 

8. Place the pizza in the oven and release it as it looks charred and cooked.




Perfection for Pizza:


1. Generously add olive oil on top of the cooked pizza.

2. Add black pepper to olive oil.


Congrats, you have produced your first-ever majestic pizza. I know this process has been a difficult yet rewarding road. This recipe leaves me with a cascade of sheer curiosity about how I can master another Italian dish, green pesto pasta. I want to know all the techniques to make dry pasta from scratch as well.
